"Lanyards"

Unfortunately in this day and age of high security in virtually every work place a Lanyards is a vital piece of work equipment. I work in a sixth form college in a big city. It is vital that all the students wear their lanyard on all occasions; we need to know at the gates that they are a first and foremost a student of the college. The lanyard should be as simple and obvious to them as putting on their shoes. We are very strict about it and we do send them home if they are not wearing their lanyard. Most students actually find them useful as they can attach their keys, bike lock keys even their mobile phones to the Lanyards. Most importantly is an instant security check that they are who they say they are, this is constantly displayed throughout the day. On their Lanyards are their photograph and their student identification. I have to say this has lessened problems of security within the college enormously
