Identity CardsI work in a local school and all the staff who are employed there have to have
Identity Cards on them at all times so that they can show who they are. The
Identity Cards we have all have photographs on them so it is immediately apparent that we are who we say we are. I feel that
Identity Cards are especially important in a school environment as there are lots of children who need to be protected. Some of these children are particularly vulnerable and could be easy targets for a ruthless individual. I think the system works very well in my school and all of the staff totally understand the need for it. Moreover, it also makes the students feel very secure and enables them to know who the staff are so that they never feel awkward about asking questions or asking for help and advice. I feel that it creates a very secure environment both for staff and for students and I think that this reflects in how happy and well adjusted our pupils seem to be. All in all it is a very pleasant school to work at with staff and students having the utmost respect for each other
