Actors Portfolio the other day and, I must say, I was really impressed with the wealth and variety of his experience. I asked him why, with such an impressive actors portfolio, what he was doing working in a local secondary school and that was where he really impressed me with his attitude. He explained that all of his life he wanted to be an actor and, when he finally succeeded, he wanted to show other young people what joy they could find in the work. He has also had great success as a teacher and one of his students last year managed to get a place in the national youth theatre which has made him extremely proud indeed. He feels that something like this makes every second of his teaching job worthwhile and his students all perform brilliantly for him every lesson.
